When choosing a tag type that should work on all (or the majority) of devices, I would choose one that implements one of the standardized tag types by the NFC Forum: NFC Forum Tag 1 Type: e.g. Broadcom's Topaz/Jewel. NFC Forum Tag 2 Type: e.g. NXP's MIFARE Ultralight (incl. Ultralight C) or NTAG203.
I bought some 1K NFC Tags only to find out that they don't work with the Nexus 7 2013 (Mifare Classic Chip). Can anyone tell me which ones do actually work? Apparently the NTAG203 do, but I only found 168byte versions. Are there any larger ones? Could anyone provide a list of tags that work?
