The easiest and most basic tool to use against MIFARE tags, is MFOC. It tries different keys against a MIFARE tags. An ACR122u USB NFC reader/writer is pretty cheap (~40USD), and can also do Mifare classic attacks (mfoc/mfcuk) that the flipper can't. If you connect to the flipper over serial, the nfc app has support for some things: detect - detect nfc device. emulate - emulate predefined nfca card. field - turn field on. mfoc. Note: mfoc can sometimes leave the reader in a state where it can't be reused again. Unplugging, replugging, and reattaching it seems to restore it. The NFC21 Tools for Windows make managing NFC projects and writing NFC tags simple and intuitive. NFC21 Tools allows you to write NFC tags conveniently on your Windows PC. The software is available from Windows 7 on and requires a corresponding NFC reader/writer, which is available in our shop: NFC-Reader.NFC Tools GUI is a cross Platform software : it works on Mac, Windows and Linux.
