Bengaluru Metro commuters can now travel unlimited with introduction of daily and three-day passes, being issued from this Ugadi, April 2. Metro commuters are in for a good news as the Bangalore . The open-loop smart cards — which according to BMTC is the first-of-its-kind facility in India — allow users to make cashless payments by tapping them on electronic ticketing devices. Starting next month, citizens can board Namma Metro without a smartcard or token. All they need is their smartphone. The Namma Metro app will display the QR code, which could be tapped at the QR enabled Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) gates at Metro stations.
