Were you having these probs BEFORE you put WinXP SP2 on your rig? SP2 is not final yet and could be causing the prob. What cable are you using? I'm using 3COM XJack 802.11b PCMCIA card as we speak, and I have absolutely no issues with it whatsoever. I originally tested this card for 3COM before the card was introduced to market, and apparently there are two revisions of this card. While both have model SL-1110, one has revision "A" and another has revision "B". I remember a few years ago I wired a rear expansion usb port wrong. I plugged in a usb flash card reader and it fried the reader and the usb port. I replaced the usb rear expansion ports, wired it correctly, and exchanged the flash card reader. Everything worked fine.
The bookmark button is very useful and the 3-level zoom function really helps. So far I found epub and pdf files are much better to handle on this ebook reader. The N516 came with the leather case and 2GB SD card. It even plays mp3. So after one month I have to say this is an amazing ebook reader and I am glad I did not get kindle, nook or SONY .May 28, 2001. #3. Beware of these fly-by-night dealers. Go to alt.dss.hack and read the FAQ's for newbies which have lists of known reputable dealers. Most of these people promising free dss are just out to steal your money or your smart cards. So I have a Sony FDR-AX53 on the way. Al I want is someone to give me a few solid suggestions on what specific make/model media to get for it. I'd like at least 128GB and plan to do most recording in 4K. I know that will limit recording times but if need be, I will buy a larger card or just get multiple 128's. Thx for any help! I ordered the cheapest PCI-e card from Hong Kong/eBay that I could find (it was under US) and it's been working like a charm in a 4790k setup. I'd previously ordered a more expensive version with a large capacitor; where the theory was that this could mitigate against power failure (capacitor would provide power to flush any writes).
